B K Roy Foundation, (BKRF): Peerless Skill Academy as an Institution has been incorporated as a unit of B K Roy Foundation, (BKRF), a public charitable trust formed by the promoters of Peerless Group in Kolkata. The Governing Council of Peerless Skill Academy has members from both BKRF and Ramakrishna Mission.
Ramakrishna Mission and Ramakrishna Math, (RKM): RKM, one of the most revered organisation of the country for their contribution to human being, societal upliftment and community empowerment through their various activities globally, are also engaged into vocational training through their centres spread nationwide.Peerless Skill Academy has been promoted as an Institution in collaboration with Ramakrishna Mission and Ramakrishna Math to carry out skill development activities through training and empowerment thereby enhancing community livelihood. The Governing Council of Peerless Skill Academy has members from RKM.
National Skill Development Corporation, (NSDC): NSDC is a not-for-profit public limited company incorporated on July 31, 2008 under section 25 of the Companies Act,1956 (corresponding to section 8 of the Companies Act, 2013). NSDC was set up by Ministry of Finance as Public Private Partnership (PPP) model. The Government of India through Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE) holds 49% of the share capital of NSDC. NSDC aims to promote skill development by catalyzing creation of large, quality and for-profit vocational institutions. NSDC acts as a catalyst in skill development by providing funding to enterprises, companies and organizations that provide skill training. It also develops appropriate models to enhance, support and coordinate private sector initiatives Peerless Skill Academy is an accredited training partner of the NSDC.
Bengal Peerless Housing Development Company Ltd.(Bengal Peerless): Bengal Peerless is a joint venture between The Peerless General Finance & Investment Co Ltd. and the West Bengal Housing Board. Bengal Peerless is endeavouring to provide spaces for community living through all its projects. Bengal Peerless is one of the funders and support partners of Peerless Skill Academy.
Peerless Hospital & B K Roy research Centre, (Peerless Hospital): Peerless Hospital is a 400 bed multi-specialty hospital build around the core principle of selfless, single-minded and sustainable service to humanity. Bengal Peerless is one of the funders and as well as livelihood support partners of Peerless Skill Academy.
Peerless Financial Products Distribution Ltd, (PFPDL): PFPDL is a 100% subsidiary of The Peerless General Finance & Investment Company Ltd. PFPDL is the Corporate Agent of Max Life Insurance Company Limited for selling life insurance products and IFFCO TOKIO General Insurance Company Limited for general insurance products. It is also the Mutual Fund distributor of Peerless Funds Management Company Ltd. Reliance Mutual Fund, and other well known Asset Management companies in the country. PFPDL is one of the livelihood support partners of Peerless Skill Academy.
Peerless Hotels Limited, (Peerless Hotels): Spread across various parts of India, Peerless Hotels provides its guests with a blissful ambience of luxury. Peerless Hotels is one of the funders and as well as livelihood support partners of Peerless Skill Academy.
Jindal Stainless Limited, (JSL): JSL is the largest manufacturer of stainless steel in India with a capacity of 1.1 million tonnes per annum. The state-of-the-art unit of Jindal Stainless LImited is located in the eastern part of India, in the state of Odisha. The plant comprises 250,000 tonnes per annum ferro-alloy facilities with world- class technology. JSL has received endorsement from Capital Goods Skill Council for efforts made by the company in advancing stainless steel fabrication training programmes, conducted across the country, to train grass-root level fabricators and welders in stainless steel handling. Bridging the market-skill gap and building capacity through delivery of training programsJSL has been successful in training over 10,000 fabricators till date. Peerless Skill Academy is the implementation partner of JSL in this endeavour.
Tata STRIVE: Tata STRIVE is the skill development initiative of the Tata Community Initiatives Trust under the aegis of Tata Trusts, addressing the pressing need of skilling India’s youth for employment, entrepreneurship and community enterprise. This endeavour recognises the close synergies between Tata STRIVE and the broader community interventions of the Tata Trusts. Tata STRIVE is skilling youth from underprivileged backgrounds through innovations in technology, pedagogy, and methodology. 6.5 Lakh Individuals have experienced the Tata STRIVE advantage since 2014. Peerless Skill Academy is an implementation partner of Tata Strive for their various skill development based livelihood support programmes.
Media & Entertainment Skills Council, (MESC): MESC has been promoted by Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI) with financial support from National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC). The key objective of MESC, a Not-for-Profit Organization,registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860, is to create a robust and vibrant eco-system for quality vocational education and skill development in media and entertainment space in India.The MESC and Peerless Skill Academy jointly organise a special media and entertainment-related recognition of prior learning (RPL) drive for practitioners in eastern and north-eastern India.
Tech Mahindra Foundation, (TMF): TMF is the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) arm of Tech Mahindra Limited. TMF works extensively on the vision of ‘Empowerment through Education’ with three key focus areas – Education, Employability, and Disability.Peerless Skill Academy has been an implementation partner of TMF for their various skill development based livelihood support programmes.
Satyajit Ray Film & Television Institute, (SRFTI): SRFTI is a film and television institute located in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. Named after Indian filmmaker Satyajit Ray, the institute provides higher and professional education and technical expertise in the art and technique of film-making and television production.In collaboration with the SRFTI, Peerless Skill Academy offers short-term foundation courses on Digital Film Making,Screen Acting and Script Writing, in the Districts of West Bengal and adjoining states.
Durgapur Steel Plant, (DSP): DSP set up in late nineteen fifties is a leading producer of long steel products and is the pioneer in manufacturing and supply of forged railway wheels and axles in India. DSP started production with an initial crude steel capacity of 1 MPTA (million ton per annum) in 1959, which has been progressively increased to 1.8 MTPA during the modernization in nineties and further to 2.2 MTPA during recently completed modernization and expansion plan.Peerless Hotels is one of the benefactors of Peerless Skill Academy.
