I never thought I can get such opportunity, which PSA-RKM has given to me. Now I am confident that I can make my students get trained to earn a living with orders procured...

Namita Gorain

Namita Gorain is a trainer in tailoring in Purulia. She leads a student batch of 34 there. Within 10 days of start of class she could train the freshers to design kids dresses, each of different designs. She has strong bent to train her students on products which would have market demand and for which she can procure orders for students. But she was not getting any window. To facilitate the same Peerless Skill Academy organised one workshop during which she was engaged with three different trade related entrepreneurs - (a) Ladies apparel fashion design, (b) soft toy manufacturer, (c) Hospital apron and dress supplier. She could already secure sample order for apron supplier and post satisfactory supply, fresh orders can be procured which could then be made through students at Purulia even during the training period. She was trained on fashion design matters particularly on the recent trends so that she can put these as part of syllabus. She was also sent to get trained on soft toy making, for which regular order will be placed.

My dream has come true and I was looking for such opportunities. By the grace of Thakur, Maa and effort of PSA RKM this window has been opened for me. Now I want to fly...

Anuradha Majhi

Anuradha Majhi was a student of Jute bag manufacturing from  Kamarpukur centre. Now she has enrolled herself for Tailoring course. Anuradha after getting trained in Jute bag making, started her business at her village and employed 35 women and made close to 80 designs. But she was facing difficulties in getting buyers and suitable market for the product. Peerless Skill Academy organised one workshop with potential buyer, one of the handicraft manufacturer, with whom Peerless Skill Academy has signed LOI, who met her at Head Office of Peerless Skill Academy. They bought  her products and placed order for fresh produce. They also advised her for some designs and guided her on quality issues. They will regularly procure goods from her. Anuradha has now plans to get trained on tailoring at PSA-RKM, Kamarpukur, post which she will diversify to Apparel. She is confident that she can engage about 20 fellow students in her enterprise. She is now confident for the regular source of requirements where she will be able to supply her varied products.
